Great news! Our rings are finally ready!

Not sure if I have said so earlier but we bought custom-made rings for our wedding bands and we chose platinum. And each ring will have a coloured gem. We initially chose turquoise but the jeweller said turquoise stone is quite hard to find. Other options are lilac and apple green.

Anyway, we'll be collecting our rings this Sunday and after that, we'll be going to Tunang's place for breaking fast.

To A'ai, thanks so much for sharing your experiences preparing for your wedding! It helps, really! I am like soooo getting the lulur thingy from Geylang.

Ouh and I just realised I've been a bit selfish all these while. Hehe. To all other bride-to-be and groom-to-be, all the best in your preparations!! :)

Yay! Honeymoon has been booked! Tunang went down to Shahidah Travel to get our package booked earlier. And the venue has been confirmed to be Cameron Highlands and K.L. We'll be staying at Cameron for 2 nights and K.L for 4 nights and we're departing from Singapore on the 6th! Yay-ness!

Some of you might think honeymooning to Malaysia is like so boring and you might suggest we go places like Bali, Thailand or even Australia. Yes, initially, I kind of agree with that but after I sat down to think about it, it's not the place that matters but it's the quality time that I will spend with him (no hidden messages intended). And furthermore, the further the distance you go, the bigger the hole in your pocket. And not intending to be stringent on this but after all, a wedding just occurred. $15,000 to $20,000 gone just like that so..... Go figure!

So it's one down from my list and many, many more to go!

20 days since my last post. Oooohhh. Yeah I've been slacking all right. *guilty*

But nevertheless, yesterday, went to MANIQ to collect my shoes, tudung and veil and Tunang got his Songkok. Pretty nice. Except that the shoes wasn't what I expected it to look like. They didn't make it half organza. But it's okay cos I think it looks better fully embroidered. Haha.

And Tunang bought me my baju hantaran as well. It's an exact match to his shirt. Wait till you see it for yourself!

As for now, the only things left to get are my makeup set, telekung and Tunang's sejadah. And then the hantaran items are complete!

And I need to contact my Mak Andam ASAP as well to arrange my trial makeup session. Argh! So much to do and so little time left!
